Uses of Tuspress Syrup
Tuspress Syrup is used in the treatment of cough and common cold symptoms.

How to use Tuspress Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Tuspress Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Tuspress Syrup works
Tuspress Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan, menthol and phenylephrine which relieve cough and cold symptoms. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Menthol is an organic compound which produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach upset, Headache, Loss of appetite, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Skin rash, Itching, Sleepiness.
